DAVIS COUNTY

Debbie Beus and Beth Horsley are serving as Co Presidents for Davis County this year. The following information is from the June 2009 Capsule.

Debbie has served in the Alliance for many years. She loves the many friends she has been able to make and is grateful that she gets to work with so many wonderful people.
Debbie met her husband Michael at BYU and then taught school while he atended medical school at the U of U. Michael is now a family practice physician. They have six children and their youngest, twin girls, will graduate from high school this year.
Their son Bryan is a talented artist and designed a placemat for the Utah County Medical Alliance that teaches children to choose healthy lifestyles. The placemat has been and will continue to be distributed to thousands of children. We appreciate Debbie and Mike for raising such a talented son who shared his talents with us.

Beth and her husband David both grew up in Eugene, Oregon and were high school sweethearts. David received a BA at the U of Oregon and an MA in bio-engineering at the U of U. Beth attended college while David was in medical school. They have four children and live in Bountiful where David has an internal medicine practice.
Beth loves gardening, reading (historical fiction is her favorite), playing games, and enjoying time with her family. She would like to provide Davis County physicians and spouses with the opportunity to meet with their state legislators face to face to share with them their stance on legislation that affects medicine. She would also like to educate Alliance members about the legislative process and help them become involved in influencing the senators and representatives serving their county.
Beth is very interested in promoting healthy lifestyles. She respects traditional medicine but is also very open to any natural herbs and naturopathic medicine.
