Utah County is holding an opening social at the Watley Farm on September 23, and a Shelter Shower on October 22. Here is a short bio from the Capsule about their Alliance President.

Pat Nelson grew up in Kanab, Utah, where she graduated valedictorian of her high school. She graduated from BYU in microbiology and was working as a medical technologist when she was lined up with Devon Nelson, who was doing his residency at the U of U.

Pat and Devon have raised five boys and one girl in Utah County where Devon is an orthopedic surgeon. Pat is devoted to her family and enjoys spending time with them on family trips at Lake Powell, water skiing, and any adventure that Devon plans. Pat has generously served in her church and community.
As this year's Utah County president, Pat hopes to have some meaningful meetings and projects that will strengthen not only the physicians and their families but also the community.
